Welcome to Halal Horizons. We are glad that you have found us. This is a project where our aim is to equip Muslims parents with supplemental curriculums to subsist their conventional home schooling journeys with the infusion of Islamic studies. This is a project run by volunteers and we are always looking for help. Consider joining us on this rewarding journey by joining our Whatsapp and/or Discord community!

That’s right, the spirit of Halal Horizon starts with you. The success of this project depends on the strength of its community. They say it takes a village to raise a child. At Halal Horizons, we are building that village where we can build something for our children – together!

Collection of Resources

Alhamdulillah, there are a lot of free and paid resources available on the internet for Islamic tarbiyaah. At HH, we start by collecting all the fair use and freely available resources to start things off. 

Sorting and Organizing

Next, we sort these resources for parents who are looking to start off on their homeschooling journeys and/or looking to subsist their Islamic tarbiyah efforts, and organize them in an age specific manner. 

Sharing the Final Results

Lastly, we make available these age specific and streamlined resources, along with an easy to follow curriculum for each grade/age level that references these resources, to allow the parents to take out the guesswork from their day to day Islamic lessons. 

Terms of Use

This Terms of Use Agreement (“Agreement”) is a legal agreement between you (“User”) and Halal Horizons (“Entity”) governing the use of the Entity’s website (“https://halalhorizons.com”) and any associated services, including but not limited to the resources, content, and materials provided on the Website.
By accessing or using the Website, User agrees to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Agreement. If User does not agree with these terms and conditions, User should not access or use the Website or the resources therein.

1. Ownership and Use of Content
a) The Entity aggregates and provides free educational resources from various creators across the internet and offline, on the Website. The Entity acknowledges the intellectual property rights of the respective owners of these resources and gives proper credit to them.
b) In instances where proper credit is not given, the Entity is open to receiving correspondence from the rightful owners. Upon notification, the Entity will promptly provide credit to the owner or remove the content if requested.

2. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
a) The Entity provides resources on an “as is” and “as available” basis without any warranties, express or implied.
b) The Entity does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of the content provided on the Website.
c) The Entity shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising out of or in connection with the use of the Website or the content provided therein.

3. Indemnification
User agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Entity, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, volunteers and licensors from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in connection with User’s use of the Website or any violation of this Agreement.

4. Earnings and Fundraising
a) The Entity operates independently from any fundraising activities or earnings generated by the associated YouTube channel (“Halal Horizons”).
b) The Channel, while bearing the same branding as the Entity, is a sole entity on its own and is managed completely separately from the website. Any fundraising efforts or earnings from the Channel are kept separate from the Entity’s operations and are intended for the growth and sustainability of the Channel.
c) Volunteers and users of the Entity are not entitled to any fundraising proceeds or earnings generated by the said Channel.

5. Miscellaneous
a) This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between User and the Entity regarding the use of the Website, superseding any prior agreements between User and the Entity.
b) This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Massachusetts, USA, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
c) Any failure by the Entity to enforce any provision of this Agreement shall not be deemed a waiver of such provision or any other provision.
d) If any provision of this Agreement is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

By accessing or using the Website, User acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Agreement.
