The KG curriculum is designed to take the guess work out of daily activities and exercises that home schooling parents should conduct with their children. From this page, you can download the ‘KG Curriculum.pdf’ file which contains all the necessary information and also any of the activity files referenced in there.
These terms and conditions apply solely to the free files designed and uploaded by Halal Horizons. They do not apply to the free files available to download from other resources referenced by Halal Horizons. We have done our due diligence while sharing those resources here. However, please inform us of any oversight.
There is no limit to how many copies of these free files you may download here for personal use within your home environment. These resources are meant to be FREE of charge and must not be replicated, printed and sold for monetary compensation or fee.
Also to note here is that this curriculum is only meant to offer resources relevant to your child’s Islamic upbringing. It is by no means meant to replace the education provided by a secular curriculum. This curriculum is also meant to provide some but not all that is needed for a wholistic religious upbringing. It is meant to be a guide and by no means an end-all solution. Halal Horizons does not take any responsibility for any omissions from the content provided deemed mandatory by some individuals.
This Terms of Use Agreement (“Agreement”) is a legal agreement between you (“User”) and Halal Horizons (“Entity”) governing the use of the Entity’s website (“https://halalhorizons.com”) and any associated services, including but not limited to the resources, content, and materials provided on the Website.
By accessing or using the Website, User agrees to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Agreement. If User does not agree with these terms and conditions, User should not access or use the Website or the resources therein.
1. Ownership and Use of Content
a) The Entity aggregates and provides free educational resources from various creators across the internet and offline, on the Website. The Entity acknowledges the intellectual property rights of the respective owners of these resources and gives proper credit to them.
b) In instances where proper credit is not given, the Entity is open to receiving correspondence from the rightful owners. Upon notification, the Entity will promptly provide credit to the owner or remove the content if requested.
2. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
a) The Entity provides resources on an “as is” and “as available” basis without any warranties, express or implied.
b) The Entity does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of the content provided on the Website.
c) The Entity shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising out of or in connection with the use of the Website or the content provided therein.
3. Indemnification
User agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Entity, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, volunteers and licensors from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in connection with User’s use of the Website or any violation of this Agreement.
4. Earnings and Fundraising
a) The Entity operates independently from any fundraising activities or earnings generated by the associated YouTube channel (“Halal Horizons”).
b) The Channel, while bearing the same branding as the Entity, is a sole entity on its own and is managed completely separately from the website. Any fundraising efforts or earnings from the Channel are kept separate from the Entity’s operations and are intended for the growth and sustainability of the Channel.
c) Volunteers and users of the Entity are not entitled to any fundraising proceeds or earnings generated by the said Channel.
5. Miscellaneous
a) This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between User and the Entity regarding the use of the Website, superseding any prior agreements between User and the Entity.
b) This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Massachusetts, USA, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
c) Any failure by the Entity to enforce any provision of this Agreement shall not be deemed a waiver of such provision or any other provision.
d) If any provision of this Agreement is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
By accessing or using the Website, User acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Agreement.
